Let me take you back to the beginning -
The year was 2021 and I was 2 months away from graduating cosmetology school. And although I loved doing hair, it wasn’t enough to satisfy my desire for music. After coming to this realization, I finished the course in December of 2021 and became a caretaker in the new year. My plan was perfectly laid out. I would work part-time and pursue my career on the weekends, which at this early stage, was unpaid open mics. I soon came to a crash when the company became short-staffed and I was launched into a lead role in just 7 months. I loved this job, but I knew if I were to keep up with the new, heavy wave of young musicians from the Tri-State, I would have to resign in order to start building an audience.
