Charlie Brown Superstar (Brett Fuller) is a DJ, producer, remixer, and artist from Huntington, WV. He co-produced and remixed Joyful Noise, the final installment of Tyler Childers’ most recent three-part album, “Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?” (RCA Records), which debuted at The Official Tyler Childers Afterparty: Charlie Brown Superstar’s Joyful Noise at Reelworks in Denver, Colorado. Brett currently concentrates on what he calls Mountain Funk, an eclectic blend of jam, funk, and electronic, with elements of local flavor, which inspired the production of Joyful Noise. He has showcased his concept of Mountain Funk at festivals such as Mountain Music Fest, Brew Skies, and Kickin’ It On the Creek, and, in his hometown at the Huntington Music and Arts Festival and Funktafest.
Charlie Brown Superstar is a veteran of the West Virginia DJ scene and has played at clubs such as Gumby’s, Gyrationz, and the V Club (now known as The LOUD) since the mid-90s. He is known for playing and producing a wide range of music with a focus on Nu Disco and house. He is currently touring with Tyler Childers and The Foodstanps for the Send In The Hounds tour.
